WELCOME
FRIENDS IN CHRIST!!
We're glad
you stopped by our page to check out the latest news, happenings and
great photos of United's Youth!
Here's a little helpful
info while navigating through our pages...
"Fun"draising
is just what is
says... a fun way to raise funds for special events and activities that
are planned throughout the year. This site is for our JYG and SYG
groups to check out and be informed about what's happened, what's coming
up and when they need to plan on helping out. JYG and SYG members
can earn credit for the amount of time they help out with these events.
Click the link to the left for more details and to see photos from our
past fundraisers.
KICS
stands for "Kids In Christ's Service". This bunch is
generally comprised of 2nd through 5th graders and usually meets
on the 4th Sunday of the month for some type of group activity.
Check out the KICS News & Photos icon on the left of the page to see
what's happening this month!
JYG
is the "Junior Youth Group" including grades 6-8.
This group meets once a month for an activity and has a monthly Youth
Group Meeting on the first Sunday of each month during the school year.
You can check the JYG News & Photos icon on the left to see what's
up for this month!
SYG
is our spectacular "Senior Youth Group" which
includes grades 9-12. This group meets at least once
a month for an activity and also has a monthly Youth Group meeting on
the first Sunday of each month during the school year. All youth in
grades 7-12 are also encouraged to attend SMG (Sunday Morning Gathering) in the
Youth Room every Sunday morning starting at 9:45am and ending at 10:45.
Be sure to check out the SYG link on the left to see what's new!
Permission
Forms are needed for each youth at the start of the school year
or before they participate in any church sponsored activity. You may
print out a copy of the on-line form and turn it in prior to an event if
you are unable to pick one up at the church. *Some special
events (i.e. Lock-ins, out-of-town or overnight trips) will require an
additional form to be filled out by the youth and their parents.
