C13.07.I01 Funeral
Ministry Committee to be present for members of the congregation, at
times of the death of loved ones. This committee shall:
a. Ensure that there are at least
two ushers present to assist family, friends and mortuary personnel
during funerals.
b. Tape all funeral
services, and provide the tape to the family of the deceased.
c. Contact members of the
congregation to provide food for funeral luncheons or receptions at the
church fellowship hall, when requested by the family
d. Prepare and serve the
food for funeral luncheons or receptions for the family and
friends. A minimal payment will be charged to cover expenses.
e. Set up prior to a
funeral luncheon/reception and cleanup after such receptions or
luncheons.
