HANDS DAY
Saturday,
May 3rd from 9:00-Noon
Adults and Youth of all ages please join us for a food packaging session at the KIDS
AGAINST HUNGER warehouse. We
will work in an assembly line style to fill food packages to be boxed
and sent to hungry children all over the world!
Free will donations will be accepted during the event to support
the Kids Against Hunger project. Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans will be supplementing these funds also.
If you’d like to carpool or need a ride, please plan
to arrive at the church at 8:45am (Donuts will be provided!) A pizza
lunch will be provided following the project.
Please
sign-up below by Wednesday, April 30th so we
know how many to expect. (If you can only come part of the time,
that’s fine too!)

HANDS DAY is a national volunteer day sponsored by America’s fraternal
benefit societies. This special day generates awareness about the
powerful impact grassroots volunteerism has on communities across the
nation while bringing youth and adults together to build lasting
friendships across generations.
